We are having problems with our computer and having a TOUGH time getting it fixed. It has been frustrating but I remember I also brought my IPad so I am back online! Sorry for the delays but I’ll do my best to catch up with a few pictures for today & write more later.

Right across the street from my bedroom window a couple of guys were harvesting coconuts & it is pretty labor intensive! Below are pictures of the guy climbing up the tree (30’ in the air!) & the guy on the ground carrying & Loading the coconuts - all close to the size of a basketball!

Below that is out lovely new missionary from Tonga Sis Foni. After a long transfer day waiting for her ride she fell asleep on our couch & Mali immediately took advantage of the situation & joined her for a snooze! Right next to Sis Foni is Sis Arancon loving on the kitten & making faces about having to move further way so we won’t see her quite as often.

The next row is a photo of our Alcoy District missionaries doing a service project for Tatay Rodrigo (oldest family member). He lives in a tiny little bamboo hut about the size of my grandchildren’s tree house. He is 80 years old & almost blind & does all of his cooking in a little pot outside his hut over an open fire. The missionaries were helping with cleanup & company & also talked with his family. We have been trying to help where we can with food, firewood, etc. he is very sweet!

The next two pictures are of the Frey senior couple (Laura & Mike) who transferred to the new Dumaguete mission to help with medical. Elder Gonzaga is the first missionary & Elder Besada is the second & were former housing elders in our mission before the split. This was their farewell picture of two weeks ago. We LOVE these two!!

The next few pictures are of a GOLDEN family that we are working with. They are amazing with a big family & they all do various work to contribute to the family in I e. One son fishes & another one sells. The fish in the market. They have goats & chickens & various pets. Multi generation family all living together & we REALLY enjoyed visiting with them & invited them to church. Oh, the dog in the washtub was a sweetie & smashed my assumptions that only cats squeeze into odd baskets & bowls. The family next to the dog is the family I am referencing … really enjoyed visiting with them & Ingot a peek @ one of the daughters bible & I could tell she was a real scholar & had her bible all marked up. Finally a couple more pictures of the missionaries with Tatay Rodrigo & most of our farewell missionaries. Always sad to see them go home but happy too for their next. Ajar steps in life!
